With Kelso-Burnett Co. celebrating its centennial birthday in 2008, what better way to commemorate it's successes than to give back to those who've contributed to this milestone. Since Kelso-Burnett values its employees as much as we do our customers, we decided to show our gratitude to all those who have made, and still make Kelso-Burnett the successful company it is today.
On September 27, 2008, Kelso-Burnett celebrated its 100th year
in the electrical industry by giving its employees a celebration
to remember. Kelso-Burnett's Employee Gala was held at the Renaissance
Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, where
around 400 past and present Kelso employees & guests enjoyed a night
of camaraderie. On this night, many long-time friendships were re-united,
new relationships formed, and numerous memories were added to Kelso-Burnett's
ongoing history.
On October 26, 2008, Kelso-Burnett again celebrated its anniversary
by honoring its closest customers and colleagues at one of Chicago's
premier venues. Kelso-Burnett's Customer Gala was held in Navy Pier's
Lakeview Terrace, and its Grand Ballroom where Kelso's customers,
guests, and employees enjoyed an evening of dinner, dancing, and
entertainment. Kelso-Burnett featured caricature artists, psychics,
and a hand-writing analysis specialist that entertained all 400
attendees throughout the evening.
The memories formed will forever hold a special place in the history of Kelso-Burnett. Although sad to have our centennial year at its end, both nights were wonderful conclusions to Kelso's success over the past 100 years.
